Historic Irvington, IN Kitchen Remodel
backIn the small historic community of Irvington located within Indianapolis, IN, small kitchens are common. These clients wanted to improve the kitchen work zones, update appliances and fixtures all while maintaining the “historic feel and character” of this early 1900’s bungalow. Architect Lee Constantine re-arranged some appliances and food storage areas providing better clearances within the kitchen work zone. The “historic character” was maintained with arched openings, “shaker” style cabinet design, a window/bench seat with storage and “built-in” pantry cabinets.
